Exhibition visit and creative workshop
From Tuesday to Friday, teachers are invited to bring their students to the centre to take part in learning activities designed to meet the requirements of the Québec Education Program. The activities, which are renewed with each exhibition, include a guided tour of the hall and a creative workshop that encourages participants to experiment with some of the concepts discussed during the tour.
The guided tour invites young people to use information to find answers to their own questions and to use their critical judgment in viewing works of art. This helps them to develop their critical sense and aesthetic sensibilities. The art workshop lets them use their creative ideas, stimulated by the artistic techniques they have observed.
